The A4A inlet family of regulators are compact, heavy duty, pilot operated, and have remarkable functionality. They sue upstream pressure for the opening force and require a minimum 0.14bar (2psig) pressure drop to open. These valves are normally ordered with close coupled upstream strainers to prevent the entrance of foreign materials into the valve and rest of system. The valve' purpose is to modulate flow of refrigerant gas or liquid to maintain constant upstream pressure as set-for, despite load fluctuations.
Features and Benefits:
Pilot operated characterized Modulating Plug for precise control
Suitable for all common refrigerants and oil
27.6bar (400psig) design pressure (MRP)

Interchangeable parts
Easy to service
Close coupled strainers, optional
Many control variations are possible with the use of a few Modules and Kits
Stainless Steel Diaphragm
Chrome Plated Pilot Seat Manual Opening Stem
Application:
Depending on the specific variation of this valve, the application may include, but is not limited to; - Evaporator pressure control, temperature control, defrosting, Maximum Cooling, regulating defrost, Crankcase pressure regulation, Liquid Chillers, Low Pressure Drop, Hot Gas Bypass, Load Change Compensation, Reducing liquid or vapor line pressure, any inlet pressure control, Non-Atmospheric relief
